GAAAAAH! why do vet spouses hate me sooo much! Am I really that horrible? Sometimes i wonder if I do act too much like my father and put everyone off.
Sigh, I know that i am new and do tend to joke about everything, and giggle when things go wrong, but I don't think I have done anything to offend people. But the practice manager (ie vet's fiance) and one of the receptionist are really horrid to me, and make efforts to point out everything I do wrong, and instead of helping me fix it, just coo at me like i am a simple child that can only understand simpering sarcastic tones. The vets tend to see my side and make excuses for me, but I rather they get off my back, since i am not being paid to be here and I think i am showing lots of enthusiasm.
My first day i offered to make everyone coffee or tea, and the receptionist made a big deal of her coffee not being just right. So today I didn't offer and i caught her grumbling about how she HAD to do the teas since no one else would.
Besides that things are fun, I am on night nurse duty minding the sickies on iv drips.
Watched Children of Men last night, was expecting a really awsome movie, due to people's opinions, but was disappointed.
