Home again home again

Am back on the western Atlantic shores, but am soooo busy with visiting family and friends. Went to Maine to be supportive as my sister interviewed for her dream job. Made Nick touch the western Atlantic (which was too calm for him (it was protected by islands)). Saw my sister's exhibit at the musuem (she was the instigator....how evil!) I learned that  95% of all lobstahs can get out of the lobstah pots no matter the trap or size of lobstah. So really we are selectively breeding the lobstahs to be too intellegent to catch and only catch the dumb 5%. Makes me feel like eating Lobstah is my civic and evironmental duty. Oh and the Lostah Pound (local shop in Searsport, Maine) doesn't serve anything land based animals (Nick doesn't do shellfish or any fish).

Went Camping for the Fourth in Ausable Chasm State Park, and the bug bites are just appearing today. Watched the Burlington fireworks from the New York side, so everything was delayed and it really looked like the finale was the whole dock blowing up (but no news reports confirm this) It is good to be dating an Army boy, cause he happily set up all the tents and eagerly stayed up looking for Raccoons ( So far he has not seen any, i am afraid he will try and shake their Rabid hands)

Going to Ohio in  a bit to see my grandmother.
