You know I always read. Man, that was just amazing. Even if it was just your thoughts - it brought tears to my eyes. You always seem to find ways to say/write the things I want to hear/read or the things I wish I myself could say/write. And you do this all without even trying. You are real. You've never put on a mask to try to be something you are not, as many of us have - myself included. I've never met anyone quite like you. I still remember freshmen year, Gatewood's class. I developed a sort of crush on you that it seemed like so many other girls had - just because of the fact that you had (and still have) such an amazing sense of self. Dang crush went on for quite some time until I realized that I was content with just being a very good friend of yours. Over the last four years, I have come to know a man who has affected me on so many levels. I can't even begin to express how much I am going to miss seeing you around the halls - and even having classes with you, though we did not have any together this year. I guess I just wanted to say thank you for these past four years. You've taught me a lot about myself and have shown me that there are guys out there who are, in word and in deed, genuine. You're amazing. Please know that. You've been through a lot, but I know in my heart you have come out stronger because of it. For what it's worth: I am so very proud of you.
