I sucked it up and bought a GPS off Ebay last week. I expect it to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. So, now I need to plan an outing that requires the use of said GPS. Hrm. It has to be inexpensive, perhaps hiking? The real reason I bought the silly thing is that I still don't know this area well enough to prevent getting lost. I'll know how to get from home to point A, home to point B, but if going from A to B I either get lost or have to take a stupidly roundabout way. Hopefully the GPS will save me time and gas money. That, and I hate printing out directions, they always end up crumpled up in the back of my car :/
I don't think I've mentioned this yet: Ryan's the new overnight manager at Petsmart, yay! It'll be great for his resume, the pay is good (he fought for a better raise than they originally offered, and got it, I'm so proud) and a discount on pet supplies is always welcome. :)
The first thing we bought with said discount was a cat water-fountain thing. So far I haven't seen Charlie use it, but it's only been a day and I have high hopes. If we can increase his water intake it'll be beneficial with his kidney failure.
