Ten years ago, I was a New Yorker. Living in Rochester & watching in horror as the towers fell. Volunteering with the Red Cross and donating blood in the days that followed in NYC, I have never seen so much sadness; however, I had also never seen such strength, determination, faith, love, & hope. It made me proud to be a New Yorker. Never forgotten. Always grateful.
