The workmen are back outside my house - well, next door to be precise - and they've brought their noisy stone-cutting(?) drill with them.

Why can't someone invent a quiet drill??

I have one of my headaches, so I try and read, maybe watch telly, and lay off the puter a bit.

I suppose you could say today was productive, in that Mum and I were able to work on some figures - which we'd been putting off - and then phone Incapacity Benefits/Tax Credits (or whoever we rang - I get 'fused, as you know), and then they didn't want the figures, but they'd send us a form/booklet thing and we could fill that in...grr ( Read more... )

I was meant to be going to Newport to day with Mum and Sis.

I had nothing in particular to do there, just to be out for a while, but my head has decided that it's not gonna let me do a lot of things today, let alone go out for a while.

Armpits.

Ah well, there's a chance we may go out on Thursday I think, so let's hope for a better day then.
