I don't know if a Man Of The Match was given, but if it was Gerrard probably got it. I thought Gabbidon was brilliant for West Ham (and I'm not just saying that cos I'm from Cardiff ;op..).
It was weird cos at least 2 of the 3 of Hammers' goals were a bit lucky, if not all three, but their performance was anything but lucky.
I think they matched us for long periods of the game, and out-played us at times, if not longer periods. At 3-2 I honestly thought that was it - esp with the way people were getting injured - and at that point Hammers were definitely on top. As

http://community.livejournal.com/premiership/ Stevie pulled us out of mediocrity at that point with a goal that was, let's face it, out of nowhere/nothing. Once we'd equalised we improved again I felt.
I can't explain why but out of the three Liverpool goals, I liked Cisse's the best, though SG will get all the plaudits.
I've never seen Reina have such a shaky match, but thankfully he came good when he really needed to.
As some of you know, I don't think quite as much of football as maybe I used to, but today's match is, I think, the best FA Cup Final I can remember, and the best football game I've seen in a long, long, time. It had very little of the histrionics, play-acting and bad feeling which seems to be in the Premiership most weeks nowadays.
Thank you West Ham, and Liverpool, for restoring my faith a bit in football.
And I don't think I could've complained too much if we'd lost. You can't really say Hammers deserved to lose.
