Why have the BBC settled on this, apparently satisfactory, format of a so-so docu-drama followed by a proper documentary/scientific program on the subject?
I'm talking Krakatoa, SuperVolcano was it? The one about Yellowstone? And now Superstorm.
The dramas were, at best, ok and the the programs that followed on BBC2 far superior. In each case I wanted the timings switched - the drama to be half-hour and the documentary the full-hour.
I've no idea why they finished Superstorm (BBC1) the way they did - are they hoping for another 'series'?
