I've just downloaded photos from my Coventry trip from my SD Card to my puter, via a card reader.
I'm having trouble doing anything with any of the photos - renaming, moving, creating a new folder and moving them to it - because I keep getting "the parameter is incorrect".
I'm fairly certain that there'll be nothing left on my card as it will have emptied itself onto my puter (to "drive e"), but now I'm afraid to even take the SD Card out of the Card Reader, for fear of losing anything.
'elp!
Edit - 15.45.
Ok, I absent-mindedly took the SD card out of the reader, but then the ie window (obviously) closed so I realised that's not a good thing, and put it back in.
Luckily all the pics still seemed to be there. I tried creating a file and renaming it, and this time it let me.
I selected all the photos (300+ is that the problem? It's from a 2GB card) and asked it to move em to the newly renamed file. It started to.......
.... and then it stopped. And since then, any time I try and move a photo, even individually, I get a message telling me something like
"Cannot move IMG_0387: Cannot find the specified file.
Make sure you specify the correct path and file name."
Soo.....now I'm stuck and don't want to take the card out of the reader, or do anything else for that matter, in case they're not on the card anymore (I think they will be, but..). The other thing, if I double click on some of the photos, both moved and not-moved, it comes up "preview not available" does that mean I've lost the photos? I know most of em, as it happens, are stored on CaterinaAnna's HD, but still....
