BBC Breathing Spaces Newsletter.

I don't know if anyone else benefits from me doing this, but I thought I'd copy n paste across everything from the BBC Breathing Spaces Newsletter (AutumnWatch, SpringWatch, etc)

October 2006

Welcome to the Breathing Places campaign! We hope this newsletter gives you all the inspiration, practical help and advice you need to create and care for green spaces where you live. Each month we will give you ideas on how to get started as well as support to keep going.

Remember small actions can lead to big changes.

Lottery Money

The first Breathing Places grants have been awarded by the Big Lottery Fund. Additional cash is up for grabs right now and more groups are eligible to apply so download the booklet and don't miss out.

Seed Hunt

Thousands of you enjoyed the Breathing Places seed hunt. If you didn't make it to one of the organised events, you can still hunt for seeds with your friends and family. Get the guide and go for it.

Wondering what to do with your seeds now?

The seed hunt information will give you the basics but you can get more tips and advice from the Woodland Trust. They'll help you plant your seeds, care for seedlings and plant out your new trees next year.

Autumnwatch

We hope you enjoyed Autumnwatch. You can watch any programme in the series again on the website until Friday 27 October or why not join the chat on the message boards?

P.S. The Woodland Trust have 2,000 seed kits to give away to schools. Follow the link on the homepage and pass the information on.
