(no subject)
Ah shit. I have not been good about updating. I worked alot this week (29 hours which is a lot for the gym :/)
For a while we were having some PLUMBING PROBLEMS. I would do the dishes then take a shower, all the water would drain out of the toilet, the shower would stop draining and then the water from the kitchen sink would back up in the tub. oh ho ho ho ho. Finally got city water to come out. they fixed it then came back another day and confirmed that the problem was on their end so we don't have to pay anything. Earlier this week the CPW came to the house and jack hammered the shit out of the sidewalk in front of the house at 9 am two day in a row. SO that was nice.
Last week Nick and I went to Columbia so he could sell some music stuff and go to a guitar show. He got a les paul for a sweet deal and then we went to the zoo. THAT IS WHAT YOU DO IN COLUMBIA. Oh man I love the zoo but it was hot as balls and we missed the giraffe hand feeding :C
Then pizza in downtown columbia. om nom nom
We finally got caught up on Harry Potter, including seeing the new movie at the hippo room. Aw damn it was awesome. All those movies, man.... how could any one not like them
Other movies: captain america and superbad. Oh my chris evans is a nice looking young man! and superbad. is that what highschool was like for normal people? Because I sat at home reading fanfiction and watching trainspotting over and over. I was super boring
Kitties continue to be good despite Penny overshooting the litter box sometimes and getting pee on the molding behind the litter box. I remedied that with some tape and a plastic bag. hurray!
Penny continues to hang out outside most of the time AND YET SHE HAS TO COME IN TO PEE AND POO. aaagh. penny. such a dummy
Let me ask you something, interboots. Those of you that cook. What do you make for a fast easy dinner? Preferably not with pasta. I have been eating way too much motherfucking pasta
Oh and this. Last week I went with mom and Mia to the mall. (we went to hot topic and ugh has that place gone down hill. I got some adventure time undies though) After dropping me off at home mom's car broke down so they stayed here for a little while waiting for dad to pick them up. Mia asked to go upstairs.
SO HERES THE THING. The upstairs was Mia's room when she and Julie lived here. Before we moved in Julie said that she didn't want nick and I to use the upstairs so she could use it for storage. There was hardly anything left up there so Nick and I put what little there was in the attic crawl space. Nick brought over his bed and he sleeps up there (we have differing mattress preferences) and has all his amps and guitars up there.
Mia goes up there (I thought so she could get some of the crap she left in her closet), comes back down and apparently immediately texted Julie that we were using the room. Julie calls me asking what's going on. It would seem that she wanted us to not use that room and keep all of Mia's stuff in it to make the transition from charleston to asheville easier on mia. Uh. What? I was never told this. I thought the whole thing was an issue of space not tween emotions.
ugh. And honestly that's not fair to Mia. I's like saying "Oh, we might come back! here's something to cling to!" when I am 99.99% sure Julie is staying in asheville. She's near Elise, her boyfriend, has a better job, likes the location more, is away from crazy David Halsey. Telling Mia that she can leave all her things upstairs like some fucking shrine when THEY DON'T LIVE HERE is just absurd.
