I need some ideas, I think... before I start the 3rd panel of my art project.
I've decided on one panel for sure - and the idea of it.
Panel 1: A girl is blowing out a dandelion, making a wish.
Panel 2: So far, I have it just, dandelion seeds spreading into the wind.... (although, a classmate suggested doing it kinda like Van Gogh's Starry Night, and have it sort of swirl into the next panel to make it a little more interesting)
Panel 3: Her wish manifests in fantasy... it shows her father on a horse, returning from war (in the foreground)... (in the background), her house, and a distance her... blowing out the dandelion.
So, it's kind of a loop... a redundancy. She's making a wish for her father to return, and there he is... her wish is reality.
I'm not 100% sold on Panels 2 and 3.
I want her wish to be interesting, evoke emotion, perhaps? I just don't know how I feel about the father returning from war thing...
And Panel 2.. I just have no idea what to do with it to make it more interesting...
I mean, it doesn't HAVE to be interesting because in the triptych, it makes sense... but, I just feel lazy if if isn't something more than the basic background plus dandelion seeds.
Meh.
Suggestions?
