Utterly Disappointed
So today we took a tough disappointing decision...
We're not (yet) going to make our documentary!
It was a touch call, everyone liked the idea, but in the end the money on the table was only enough to make a cut-down version of our project. We felt we couldn't fully support the way they wanted us to make it. We're not student anymore and we want to make something we fully support and something we can be proud of.
Strange enough, if we would have made it the way they suggested, we would have gotten a bigger profit ourselves. Still that couldn't convince the both of us to go ahead.
2 major parts would be cut and we feel they are essentials parts to our story.
Somehow I don't understand the channel. For 25% more money they could get a product that would at least be twice as good. Shame shame shame.
But we keep our project alive, we'll look into options to possibly do it next year, or even later this year if all goes well. Never say never! I've invested too much in this the past year to drop it... Some day!
