7 days before I leave for the States, this happens.
And yes, I'm flying through Heathrow...

UPDATE

Even books and newspapers are not allowed.
All passengers get a seethrough plastic bag which they can use for ONLY these items:
-wallet
-traveldocuments
-prescription medecines
-tampons
-glasses

NOTHING ELSE!!!
HORROR

I hope my flight will get rescheduled and won't pass through London Heathrow...
