Having bike issues. I feched my bike Sunday only to have my chain break AGAIN going up the same small, slightly steep hill on the way to work. Why? Well, they said they'd fixed the chain, but really they eyeballed it and it looked fine and they just put it back on my bike. See, after it had broken I'd managed to squish it back together in an attempt to make a temporary patch to ride home on (unfortuantely, I unthinkingly put it back together OFF MY BIKE and wasn't really up to taking the wheels off to install it at the time, walking home seemed okay)
Eh really I can understand, it was pretty impossible to see the weak link once all was said and done, they were prolly just trying to save me money.
To add to the obnoxiousness tho, I managed to make it there today 15 min before 7pm (when they're supposed to close) to find they'd ALREADY CLOSED! Note, each trip down there costs $4 toll and a half hour of driving. RAH! I went to this place because when they were in baltimore (they relocated) they seemed pretty good, but at this rate I'm going to price what other places will charge to replace the chain. If it's less or equal, I'm just going there :P I dun wanna be a jerk and I don't necessarily think they did anything really bad (closing early is ookie, but I knew t hey're pretty laid back and actually thought of calling them beforehand to make sure they'd be there, but didn't. Now I know). Still, this is getting annoying.
