Numbness.
It kind of simmers around the heart area like a stew that's one day past the "let it sit for a couple of days and those flavours will just burst right through" phase. It kind of half-closes your eyes and makes you want to curl up in the fetal position under a blanket and sleep away the entire day, because you can't feel anything but numbness. It kind of shifts and shakes your world like someone turning a kid upside down and shaking out his pocket contents looking for something to reprimand him for, except it looks for feeling. It kind of dries up your bones and zombie-fies you, walking around like an undead person with no understanding of what's going on around you, only walking, half-asleep, in search of your next meal. It kind of makes you care less about what you wear and how you look -- almost -- because you know that you look less than pretty all the time, so there's no real point. It kind of freezes your fingers and toes. . .no wait, that's your bad circulation. Numbness -- it kind of takes over.
