Who breaks their key in the door lock of their car? Uh, that would be ME!
So, This has been a weekend of Blue Jays baseball, in Katherine-land....si si. Friday night: Jays game with Lil and Neal for Pride -- everything's cool, fun-times, etc. Saturday morning, I work, everything's cool...Saturday afternoon, driving to Toronto again with my brother for yet another Jays game (p.s. I got a Jays hat and LOVE it -- baby blue and so cute! kind of liking new logo). Jays won the game, I got a slushie and an ice cream, I'm feeling good, feeling about 8 years old. I parked in the underground parking (always a rip-off, but convenient because we were running late, what else is new....it's me driving for heaven's sake), and go to my car and the key is being stubborn, so I shove it in the lock, and turn it, and out comes a stub of a key....LOVELY!!! I have NO idea what to do at this point, so I leave my brother underground with an unlocked car that can't be started hence no key. I go above ground and call everyone -- long story short, 4 hour wait for CAA, my dad decides to drive up to Toronto to give me the spare key and I'm home at 10:30. Meanwhile, had dinner at Movenpick while waiting -- god, I love a club sandwich.
Moral of the story: always wear comfortable shoes
