We are all settled in here, and Brendan is working like a maniac reading 1000+ pages each week. I have my hands full with 5th-graders. I actually used my eco theory text book to make some visuals for them! It's nice being outside all day every day, and it is very rewarding when I can answer their questions about the way the world works. One girl asked me on a night hike if stars are bigger than people... They have some extremely large and ferocious-looking spiders in Indiana. I thought I was escaping dining hall food but camp food is far worse!

My lizard paper was rejected, but I am glad I submitted it anyway, if just for the thrill of accidentally being called Dr. Hunt on the envelope. I haven't stopped thinking about grad school, but I am going to take my time deciding what I need.

The trip to Hungary was awesome, and we had some hot weather in a country that doesn't know about air conditioning. They had good, very rich food and lots of public baths to soak in. The thousands of years of history made it a very interesting trip.

Keep in touch!
