Another day late, but one year older
Hello peeps! I played a lot of music today! It was pretty cool. My dad let me sleep in today cause we both worked hard yesterday. The downside to this, was when i actually woke up, i didnt feel like doing anything. He felt the same way :) So we finally get off our asses, but we are the biggest procrastinators in the world. We had to go to Home Depot to get some supplies for our next house project and we spent soo much money. My mom is gonna be pissed if she ever finds out how much we spent! We got there, and went to the plumbing aisle to get some 2" pvc, and SOMEHOW ended up in the power tools section. They had this bad ass Mikita hammer drill on sale for $120. It was nice......and we needed a hammer drill. Cha-ching. Then on our way out there was this cool gun thingie near the check-out line. It was a spring powered gun that shot a plastic dart about 50 feet. Sounds useless......hear me out before you laugh :) On the bottom of the gun there is a fishing reel, with fishing line that attaches to the plastic dart. If you have ever had to run cable, or any sort of wiring through an attic, you will instantly see the usefulness of this thing. Besides, even if we never use it, it was a cool thing to fuck around with if we ever get bored :)
After the fun fun fun trip to Home Depot, we got back to the house and finished our drainage system for our washing machine :) I was about to help my dad do a minor fix in his bathroom, when Heather and Lauren showed up. They were gonna come over and write some music with me, and they ended up bailing me out of work! Thanks you two! Anyways.....the music making went well i think. Me and heather think alike as far as writing music goes. We threw a song together in just about an hour. I have to tweak the guitar parts a little to sound better, but we got the basic structure down. I dig it :) Hopefully we will have a chance to write some more together. Oh, and before i forget to mention this.......dont worry band guys :) This isnt a super serious side project or anything. Im just trying to get heather started with some music parts for her writings.....If i can write some music with her, i can transcribe the chords i play down on some sheet music, so if heather ever gets the money to record, she can hire some studio musicians and they can read the music i have written and play her stuff, so she can make cd's and get really rich :) lol, so maybe im thinkin a little ahead, but its all good :)
Then....band practice. It was a good jam, like usual. Hot as balls though. I cant wait for winter. After practice i got to watch a movie with Jimmy, John, Laci, and the ever-beautiful Mary (haha im such a suck-up!) The movie had a some funny parts, but Mary was laughing at everything......she was sooooo high, but it was cute :)
