Title: Brushie Brushie
Pairing: Leonardo/Ezio
Rating: PG-13 for implied naughtiness
Prompt: "Ezio suddenly stops letting Leo kiss him, or give him bjs, and Leo gets upset. Turns out Ezio is terribly ticklish. "
Leonardo had been hard at work for days on his latest anatomical studies. This had two effects on him: first, he neglected most personal grooming-- while he still washed and kept himself clean (the smell of corpses was unbecoming), he'd neglected trimming his beard or combing his hair for nearly a week; second, the study of numberless men made him ache for Ezio. This one had his hands, that one his mouth, this one his stomach... So when Ezio finally returned from Monteriggioni Leonardo was more than hungry for him, he was ravenous.
Their meeting was passionate, fulfilling in every way, except for one. When Leonardo went to nuzzle Ezio's (wonderful, beautiful, much-missed) cock, Ezio shied away, choosing instead to pull Leo back to his level for a kiss. Since Ezio cocked his hips wontonly against Leo's immediately afterward he was of course forgiven, but it made Leo self-conscious-- was something wrong with him? Did Ezio not want his mouth on him anymore? Was he having second-thoughts about their relationship? It made his stomach flutter with uncertainty, even as Ezio was called away by Antonio for Assassin's business and he was left to his work once more (though not without an admittedly reassuring-- and tiring-- farewell from Ezio that morning). The day alone with more of the Ezio-channeling corpses did nothing to help him with these feelings, and just succeeded in making Leo miss him more.
It was another two days before Ezio returned home, and by this point Leonardo missed him so much that it was painful. He nearly leapt on Ezio as soon as the door to his workshop closed, pulling him into an embrace and going for a kiss; however their lips had barely brushed before Ezio squirmed away, his lips going to Leonardo's throat instead. Leonardo stiffened, which made Ezio pull away to look at him.
"Is something wrong, Leonardo?" he asked, his dark eyebrows pulling together in confusion.
"Do you still love me?"
Ezio blinked. "What?"
"I said--" Leo's voice caught in his throat, and he cleared it uncomfortably. "Do you... Still love me?"
Ezio's confusion became more pronounced. "Of course I do, Leonardo. You are my best friend. Why do you ask such silly questions?"
"You won't kiss me." Ezio flushed immediately, averting his eyes to the side and pursing his lips. Leonardo pressed on. "You wouldn't kiss me just now, and the other day, when we were being intimate--" Ezio grew even redder, covering his face with his hand. If Leonardo wasn't feeling so awkward and unappealing, he would have laughed. He'd never seen Ezio looking so embarrassed.
"Please, Leonardo," he said, settling both his hands on the artist's shoulders, "I care for you, of course I do. It's just that... Well," he said, with the air of someone admitting a great personal weakness, "You haven't shaved in over a week."
Leonardo's hand came up to his chin, feeling self-consciously at the beard he'd been neglecting to trim. "So?"
"Well..." Ezio squirmed, then sighed resignedly and lowered his voice. "I am very ticklish," he admitted apologetically.
Leo stared at him for a full five seconds at least before startling Ezio with his sudden howls of laughter. Ezio looked almost scandalized. "Leonardo, it's not funny, it's very serious--"
"Oh yes, very serious indeed," Leo reassured him, wiping at his tears of mirth. "Your ticklishness is of the utmost gravity."
Ezio's embarrassment ebbing slightly, he flashed a charmingly crooked grin at Leonardo's expression of relief. "So you thought I did not love you anymore? Truly?"
"Perhaps not truly," Leo said, "But I will admit I did doubt for a moment or two." Ezio grinned more widely, then pulled Leo in to brush his lips against his ear.
"Then perhaps I need to give you reason to trust me better, in the future?" he murmured, his voice dropping to a lower register to almost a growl, the tone of his voice a little harder; something in Leonardo's pants grew a little harder in response.
And Ezio did, in fact, give Leonardo an excellent reason to trust him... But only after he'd shaved.
