my weekend was absolutely wonderful
chris came and saw me on friday. i ran over and met him at the wellington pub.
and we sat there for a while while he finished drinking a pint of cider. and i was telling about getting ready last night and all that fun stuff. and all the work that went into making my hair all curly and pretty and bouncy
he was enthralled i tell you.
from there.. we went to the natural history museum and we looked at the dinasaur bones.
that was neato.
we played this little game that you run on.. and you have to maintain your sweat levels and your drinking levels.
it was hard. i won. chris loss.
don't listen if he says otherwise.
he lies.
from there we decided that we were hungry so we went to a pub to grab something to eat.
i had my first hamburger in england.
pitiful.
absolutly horrid.
but i ate it all and it really wasn't that bad.
but it was in no way comparable to a texas burger.
but it wasn't bad.
from there we went back to my dorm room and talked to gwen and hung around really.
he had to leave early to go back to essex because he was taknig the train the whole way back.
it was sad. i like when he comes around.
toby came in to see me on saturday.
i was supposed to meet him at trafalgar square at 11:00
i got there at around 11:45
but i texted him to tell him that i was going to be late.
and in the span of 45 minutes he took about 50 pictuers of pidgeons.
weird.
btw he put the picture that he took up. but i can't get them on to livejournal for some reason. but i'll figure it out. i need to e-mail spring and ask her.
toby and i went to camden town market.
i love it there!
there were so many goths and punks walking around all over the place.
we're talking true punks with the huge mohawks and the girls that were all gothed out with the neon colored dredlocks.
it was crazy!
girls were walking around wearing neon pink tights with black and neon pink leg warmers over. and a bright neon tutu.
and then you would look up and see a group of kids dressed up like the members of average joe's gym from dodgeball come running down the street carrying dodgeballs and they would start an improv game right there in the middle of the street.
the little stalls are wonderful
you can literally buy anything you want in camden market.
and i mean EVERYTHING
i will prob end up buying spencer countless trinkets of jewelry from here as they had some of the weirdest and neatest jewelry i have ever seen.
it was amazing.
and scary.
i would be afriad to go down there by myself.
and it was huge! market stalls everywhere!
i got some little noodle thingie from a little stall to eat for lunch
from there toby and i went to green park.
and we sat on the benches and just watched peopel and talked
it was freezing so toby gave me his wool coat to sit on and i wrapped myself in it as well.
and i was still cold.
but i had a good time.
we ended the night at my roomie's place of residence. a pub called the mad hatter. where i ate a jacket potatoe.
it was good.
then toby walked me to my building and he went home. after getting off at the wrong station.
hahah twat.
but i had a great weekend.
today on sunday i haven't even gotten out of my pjs.
it's a great feeling.
i'm all caught up on my reading. and looking forward to the week.
good times.
