Additionally, this morning I accepted a full-time position at GTRI starting April 1st. I would work full time until summer classes start, then drop back to half-time for the summer (so that I still get benefits) until I graduate in August. The two benefits to starting early are: I get put on the list for a 4% raise at the end of the year, beating the cutoff date; and I'd be doing pretty much the same work in April that I'm doing now, just getting paid twice as much.
How the hell did I come upon good luck? Ah well. Ours is not to question why...
