ok, so I have been cordially requested to update more. So...
I'm about to lose a student because his mom thinks that I teach him too much easy stuff. Uh.. the kids going into 6th grade and he really needs help on the basics first. Oh well, it makes me sad because I'm pretty sure if he stops taking lessons he'll drop the trombone. Which would really break my heart. But what can I do?
Since I found out that the $50 activity fee for clubs covers ALL clubs (i.e. it does not stack for each club you're in) I'm not really digging the whole calendar dealio. But we're pretty much committed and you know, extra money never hurts. I have to start really getting that thing rolling. But I figure most people will be done with vacation in august so I still have some time to plan it out.
Aside from that life is so-so. I'm dreading school starting because I'm pretty much working all summer anyway so it'll just be more work! Hooray!
