(no subject)
it has been one crazy month. (not even a month yet actually). i have never had so much fun, learned so much about myself, met so many people, done so many things, slept so little, experienced so much in such a short period of time. i barely came to ucla 18 days ago and it feels like ive been here for a thousand years. chosing to be PA has got to be one of the best decisions i made last year. the staff is so awesome, its so inclusive. i feel like i really connect with some of the people. we did a jump roping course together, we went camping, initiation at 5am, ate ice cream cake with our bare hands, got trampled at thrice, midnight runs to subway and in n out, orl dance.. a lot more. so much i cant even remember them all to put down on paper. i love those moments at like.. 3 am, when everyone is just up taking about life and love, about school and friends, about just everything. its such a warm feeling. im so tired, but i always wake up early looking forward to more.
i have a couple more posters to put up before im done with me duties for the week. i feel so unprepared for this job. like i dont think ive ever been challenged like this before. and man, its exhilirating, not knowing what your doing and learning as you go. im used to planning everything out, its so different to just play things by the ear. its going to be a busy quarter, with 18 units, a job, pa, and finding time for friends. im going to have to sleep earlier and be more productive. lol. two nights ago, we played all hall capture the flag. o so fun. i love how my residents saved me from jail. =) we didnt win, but it was still so fun. then we ran back to sproul from dickson plaza and had some bruin cafe. yay for bruin cafe. its such a great place to hang out and be stupid. the PAs are so crazyyyyyyy. i love it
oh man, and my floor, the people are great. the second and third years knock on the first year's doors and meet them. other first years hang here and go to my cool programs. its just awesome. this guy let me borrow his cd and we had an awesome convo about rilo kiley and death cab. my residents stop by to say hi. we chill in the lounge. they say hi on the way to class. they say hi when i see them doing bad things like hooka. its so chill and awesome and cool how like, they think im cool! haha. =) its going to be a grand year. loveeeeeee sproul.
