1) I didn't get the Home Supervisor position, mainly because I was honest in my interview and said that I wouldn't commit to a year with the company. Andrew appreciated that, so it's all good. But that's why they chose someone else instead, because she'll be more long-term. He even called me into his office to sit me down and make sure I understood that it had nothing to do with my not being capable of doing the job. So, I won't get the $1 raise, but I also won't have to do the dreaded Home Supervisor job. ;) So I'm totally fine with that outcome.
2) Valentine's Day this year was AWESOME. While I was at work, Gregor texted me to let me know that he was planning on going to the Eisley show in Newport, KY that night and I was welcome to join him and his friend John. And so, I did! And they were opening for none other than... wait for it... ROONEY. One of my all-time favorites who I simply haven't seen in concert enough times! It was amazing. We got in for free (on the guest list), and I bought an awesome Rooney hoodie, and I jammed to my faves. Gotta love that. Who needs a boyfriend when you have Rooney? At least, in my life at THIS point that's what I'm saying. If I ever have a boyfriend on Valentine's Day, I'm sure that'll be awesome, too. :)
That's about it. I worked an overnight last night, and then woke up with a headache. So that's lovely. And to top it all off, I have to go back in to work tonight. Yayyyyyyy. These are the times of our lives.
Or something like that.
Now I'm gonna go watch How I Met Your Mother until I HAVE to start getting dressed/ready for work. If they think they're getting any effort today, after making me come in after working overnight, they betta think again.
