We're after the same rainbow's end...

This weekend has been amazing thus far. Thanks to the following contributors:

Trav, Christy, Gregor, Shawn, Sheryl, Angie, Jeremiah, Dave, Kip, Susan

I loveth you guys bunches. Hugs to all.

Last night Trav, Christy, and I got together and had dinner at Panda Express and shopped the fashion mall at Keystone before meeting up with Gregor, Angie, and Shawn to see Charlie Wilson's War, which is a good movie. Better for people who are into political dramas. That's not really what I'm all about (I know, shocker!) but it held my attention pretty well, so that says a lot. Not to mention... Amy Adams!!

Apparently I get excited about the "most random people in movies." That's what Christy said, anyway. But I say: Amy Adams is not random if you're AWESOME. She played Katy on seasons 1 and 2 of The Office, the slutty cheerleader in Drop Dead Gorgeous ("They won't let you perform naked. I asked."), the assistant chick in Talladega Nights, AND Gizelle in Enchanted. She's way super cool. AND she was nominated for an oscar for her performance in Junebug, which I haven't seen... but still. An oscar. I don't know how to put this, but... she's kind of a big deal.

So that was fun (even if we did have to pay a couple more bucks to get in), and then we went to... a place. Where drink-type items may or may not be purchased and games of pool may or may not be played. And that was a lot of fun. Sheryl and Dave joined us there later, so that was cool. Yay friends! Christy and Trav entertained everyone with their oddities. I mean... AWESOMITIES!!

Then I drove Christy home, then to Anderson to get Trav's car, then here to his grandparents' where I quickly went to bed, as I was wiped. Out. Then I got up at 8:30 and got around and arrived at the theater early, but just early enough to do everything I needed to do. The lady that tore my ticket gave me a little schpeal about motion sickness, which I thought was pretty fun. (I don't tend to get sick... and not during movie-type situations. And... I had zero problems. Yay me.) The others showed up later, but I ended up sitting by someone I didn't know so I felt really separated from the group. Oh well. It happens.

The movie affected me a lot. Oh, I don't think I mentioned... it was Cloverfield. I tend to get really involved in movies of ANY kind, but this one overwhelmed me a bit. In a good way. Well... kind of. I dunno. It's probably not healthy to feel in a movie the way I felt in this one. I was kind of shaking for at least 15 minutes after the movie. And I kind of was short of breath. Buuuut... I dunno. But it was good and that is by no means the typical response, so no worries.

Then we ate mexican food (not my favorite, as many of you know) which was pretty fun. And then I went to Gregor's and got myself learned the greatness of Arrested Development. Yay!

And then I was harrassed via text messages to leave and go to Christy's. But that's not such a bad thing, because we had A BLAST playing Things. Oh my lands, that game is fun. It's similar to Apples to Apples, but you try to guess who said what for points. It's awesome. Seriously.

And now here I am. Tomorrow I will hopefully be heading to Indy to spend my Christmas gift cards, and then I need to arrange a time to meet up with Cara at some point. Then it's home, James.

But anyway. Thanks again to the following (prepare for the gushing to commence):

Trav. For being awesome and letting me stay here. For being hilarious and making me and all of my other friends laugh. For enlightening me to old movies and "old" music.

Christy. For being super nice and letting me stay at your place so often, too. And for cooking me free meals. And for saying that you miss me when I don't see you for a while. (I'm such a sap, but it's rare to hear that people miss me and it means a lot.)

Gregor. For letting me invite myself over. For putting up with my typical jerk-dom. For actually watching all of the ridiculous videos/movies I tell you to watch (with a few exceptions) and actually LIKING most of them. How mad cool. Mad! Cool.

Well those have been my top 3 this weekend, for sure. The rest of you are awesome, too. But I didn't spend as much time w/ you this weekend, so you'll have to wait until another time comes for me to gush about your awesomeness. But just know that you are appreciated also.

Friends rule.

The end.
