Little by little, we meet in the middle...
Random stuff that's happened:
1. I saw The Goodbye Girl for the first time last night. It's amazingly beautiful.
2. Had dinner at some pancake house with my parents, brother, and paternal grandparents tonight. I got a cheeseburger. It was massive. And the fries were really good. And it was really cheap.
3. Got some new clothes at Lane Bryant on Saturday. One of the shirts doesn't fit. One is really ugly. I should've probably tried them on. I also got a new pair of jeans, which don't fit PERFECTLY, but fit way better than any other jeans I've tried to buy lately. It's the curse of not having a butt. All jeans fall down, all the time, and have a saggy rear. But at least these jeans fit my legs. And that's a good thing. Because I actually like my legs.
4. Watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on Saturday. My brother was making snide remarks about how much it sucks, but then he ended up sitting and watching the whole thing with us. It must not suck TOO much, eh? I love that movie. Love. Love, love, love.
5. I watched a few episodes of Gilmore Girls from season 1 today. It was pretty exciting, as they were episodes that I never usually get around to when I have a hankering for some Gilmore Girls action... so I hadn't watched them in ages, and kind of forgot certain things happened. Good times.
6. I wrote the longest e-mail of my life today. Well, that's not exactly true. I wrote a really long novel-esque one a couple months ago. But I wrote that in a Word document and just added it as an attachment. So I don't think that counts.
7. I think I'm happy with my life.
8. Last Thursday was my mom's birthday. We had dinner at Applebee's, where I got a pina colada. Mmmm. And it made me a wee bit tipsy. I tried to hide it from my family. I think I was successful, mainly because you can never really tell if I'm tipsy or just being my regular goofball self. I definitely felt it in my head, though. WOOOOO. I also got a brain freeze. Because I drank it way too fast toward the end. Bad idea. After dinner, we saw Transformers. My 2nd time seeing it. Was still as good as the first time. My brother watched all of it but the ending. He said he probably didn't miss much, which I take to mean he wasn't that impressed. Eh. Not a surprise. He's never impressed with anything. Which is why he's kind of a drag to go to the movies with. No offense. But I like to go with people that are easily amused. In other words, I like to go to the movies with me along. hahahaa
9. Friday, went to Indy and apartment-hunted with my mom. Found the one I like the best. Which happens to be where Sheryl lives. What are the odds? After that, I watched some Gilmore Girls and 8 Simple Rules in the hotel, had pizza delivered, drank Mountain Dew, and then went to Gregor's. Met up with everyone there and then we went to the drive-in and saw the Simpsons Movie and License to Wed. Both are awesome, each in their own ways. Had a great time in general, but I was in a bad mood because of other stuff going on, so I kind of ruined it for myself. Stupid crabbiness. Got a lot of hugs, though... which helped.
10. I need one more thing... let's see... oh. Went to Best Buy on Saturday and used my gift card from graduation. Got the Demetri Martin CD/DVD "These Are Jokes" and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and the latest Good Charlotte CD. All are wonderful. I do love me some Best Buy.
