Yeah, as you can see... I finally got to buy the new Relient K album. It's insanely perfect. Exactly what I was hoping it would be.
I'll post the ADORABLE lyrics to the 'current' song in a few, but for now...
When was the last time I wrote? Hmm I don't think I wrote last night.
Last night was not good. Had a BIG fight w/ Trav, but then called him to apologize and I think we're OK now. Or at least bordering on OK.
But it just sucked. All day I was sick. I had a fever the night before, which carried the sickness over, and I wanted to skip my class but we had an assignment due. Then I looked in the syllabus and it says he doesn't accept e-mail assignments, so I would've had to bring it. So I e-mailed him to see if he'd make an exception and went ahead and sent it, but he e-mailed me back and told me to print it out and bring it to his office. I was TICKED. I was like I am NOT coming to your office today, I'll do it tomorrow. UGH. (I didn't TELL him that, that's just what I thought haha)
And then I had to start studying, because I didn't study the night before because of feeling so sick. I had to memorize like 15-20 songs for music lit. Including the title, composer, and the date it was composed. Ridiculous, yes. So I memorized like 5 of them before dinner, and so I went to dinner and then went to study music marketing (yes, I had to study for two tests), and then I was all stressed because I had SO much to do.
So I went straight to my car after the library, and got in and started backing out, and CRUNCH. What the heck is that?! Turn it off, get out and look at the car... nothing seems wrong. Get back in... put it in reverse... BIGGER CRUNCH. What in the WORLD?
So I did that a few times, then called home. They told me to move it forward then back, and I tried and it SQUEAKED when I went forward and then crunched and banged when I backed it up, and they heard it on the phone. So basically I had to give up all the errands I was gonna run, including buying Relient K and Stranger than Fiction, returning overdue movies to Family Video, picking up a ring for my mom that she ordered from Kohl's, etc. So I went up to my room and I had been standing out in the cold fussing over the car, so my sickness was about 300 times worse than it had been earlier. So I ended up staying in, and getting upset. So I called Trav and left a message to see if he'd drive me to Indy and hang out w/ me and Angela, and later he told me he could so I got excited but then it turned out he could only take me THERE. Which would be pointless, because I couldn't get back and we wouldn't be able to go anywhere cause she doesn't have a car. Drat!
So basically I got ticked off, and that's when we had our big blowout.
Then I finally got back to studying after we worked stuff out (we were ALLLLL worked up, and couldn't focus), and a bit later Steph called to tell me about her getting engaged, and ended up talking for like 1 1/2 hours. It was nice, but not good timing, so I finally had to tell her I needed to study. So I got back to studying, and finally finished up around 12:30 and collapsed into bed in a pile of exhaustion and illness.
Woke up around 6, in SEVERE pain. I coughed and it hurt all through my chest and throat and I could barely stand up. So I forced myself to get up and take some advil and then tried to go back to sleep. Then I got a phone call at 7, from my mom, telling me that they needed me to go out to my car RIGHT THEN and put the keys under the mat so they could come tow it. So I had to walk down to the parking lot in my pajamas. It was ridiculous. And cold. But luckily the advil had kicked in so I was feeling better. So I got back and then took a shower and got ready and felt a BIT better then, too. Then had my first test, which I think went OK, and then advanced grammar, in which I totally botched up the quiz because I had forgotten to look at it what with all my crap of last night. Then I got some orange juice, which helped my throat, and then human sexuality (bleh). Then I skipped women's chorus because I couldn't have sung anyway, and I was annoyed with the world, so I went to the library and got online for a bit and then practiced my song memorization for the test. I remembered all of them, which was nice. Then I went and took the test. I think it went really well, but I don't wanna get my hopes up. I just know I remembered all the info I had tried to memorize, I'm just not sure if I knew which song was what. (Because she plays a short clip and you write down the info, and some of the songs sound identical.) I think I did alright, though. I did my best. And I think I did alright on the essay, too, which I had barely studied.
Then I got food and Relient K and came back here and had to call my insurance company to tell them stuff about my "accident" and now I'm finally eating. At 3:30 I'm supposed to call a rental car company to see if they have a car ready for me yet, but they said it'll be 4-6 so it probably won't be ready. Whenever it is, I need to get a ride there and then I"ll be off to Indy to see Angela. Yay!!! And then the stress will float away. For now, anyway. Cause I have other things I need to do when I come back.
Ugh. Senior year.
Now I'm gonna listen to Relient K and finish eating. Toodles.
