Tonight... SO MUCH FUN. I'm lovin' it. OK, that was weird. I accidentally quoted a McDonald's slogan. CRAZY.
Anyway, let me back up.
Had classes all day. Only a couple things stand out in my mind to talk about:
1. In Advanced Grammar class, I was sitting in my chair, minding my own business, when I try to switch positions in my chair cause well... the chairs are hard, and my BUTT HURT, OK? YEAH I SAID IT. Anyway, so I was like shifting in my seat and what does my butt run into, but the girl behind me's FEET. Why were her feet IN MY BUTT? OK, maybe not IN my butt, but you get the point. Don't NORMAL people put their feet on the little book rack thing under the seat? Why would you EVER put your feet on the SEAT of the person in front of you? And if you do, how would you not notice your FOOT GOING UP THEIR BUTT? Ugh. It was uncomfortable. And I could do nothing to escape, and it would've been AWKWARD TURTLE to turn around and be like, "Hey... chick behind me... GET YOUR FOOT OUT OF MY BUTT, PLEASE." So... I just kinda leaned back in my seat so my boo-tay slid forward and thus her foot was removed. Problem solved, despite the terrible posture and icky back pain it gave me. Stupid girl. She better watch where she puts her feet next time, or ELSE. Or else what, I don't know, but I MIGHT lose it.
2. I have a stalker, named Adam, who half of the time admits to being my stalker and plays along but the rest of the time gets "angry" and protests my calling him that, saying that he's not stalking me. So first of all, he works in the choral office, which is right next to the room where Women's Chorus meets, and he's always there when I come to class. Today as I was walking to class, I passed him, and gave him this look and shook my head, and he's like laughing, and I'm like "I'm not EVEN gonna say it" and he's like "THAT'S CAUSE YOU KNOW IT'S A LIE." Later, after class, I went to the class we have together, and he sits DIRECTLY BEHIND ME, so on our way out of class I'm following him and his twin brother out and they happen to go the same direction I need to go to go to the haven for some food. So I'm walking down the hall behind them, and he turns around and is like "For the record, YOU are following ME." I'm like "WHATEVER, you're just in my WAY, THAT'S what's happening here." Then he turned and went down the stairs, as did his brother, and as did I. Halfway down the stairs, he stops and says "SEE, you're following me EVERYWHERE!!!" "SHUT UP. GOSH." Then his brother told me I should just punch him. It was an amusing moment. But the story doesn't stop there. Later in the day, when I was going to dinner, I walked out of the front door by the west end of Martin and who should be right there walking past at that exact moment... ADAM. Ohhhhhh snap. "WHAT IN THE WORLD, I come out of my DORM and you're RIGHT THERE!" "I know, I just can't get enough. I'm thinking about hiding out in this tree right here next time." Ohhhhh, good times. Gotta love having a stalker. Especially when he's a fun one.
Alright, so to pick up where I left off, I got lunch and came back to my room and watched some Veronica Mars season 2. Meg didn't die, by the way. I figured she did. EVERYONE ELSE on the bus died, but she just HAPPENED not to die. Cheese-orific. I still love it, but she totally should've died. It's way too fake to keep her alive.
Anyway, then I got online and talked to people for a bit and then had dinner at 5 w/ Trav, Mack, Nicole, and Cara. We had good times. I love my friends.
Trav and I had been discussing (aka I begged him to go and he kept saying 'maybe') going to see a movie at the $2 theater, and he was being a dork and not giving me a straight answer, and so was Mack, so I'm just like FINE WHATEVER. So I get up and start to leave and Trav is like ALLISON YOU STOP RIGHT NOW AND LISTEN TO ME OR I'M NOT GOING WITH YOU. Very loudly. Typical Trav. Everyone stared. I'm like WHAT DO YOU WANT. So apparantly he thought he made it clear he wanted to go. UNTRUE. But anyway, so I went w/ him and he drove us back to Martin and I went upstairs (no open house, he had to wait in the lobby) to check the movie times and stuff. When I got upstairs, I had like 7 missed calls from Mack AND a couple IMs. Crazy woman. So apparantly she wanted to go. Then Trav kept calling me to make me hurry up. I'm like CHILL CHILD. So finally I found out the time and contacted Mack and then we left and picked her up and went to Target for some pre-movie shopping. Then we went to the theater a tad early, and DON was working. We love Don. So basically we got in FREE OF CHARGE (which is always good) and he also took us on a tour of the behind-the-scenes area, which I had never seen before, and let us watch him start a movie and stuff. The way they load the film reminds me a lot of how I used to load steel into the v-strip machine in the factory. It was exactly the same, except of course I was dealing with sharp steel and he deals with film, but you know, otherwise.
After a bit of hanging out upstairs in the projector room, we went down to watch the movie and he started it. Oh, did I mention what movie? Guess not. Stranger Than Fiction. Trav adored it. I already had seen it, so I knew I adored it. Mack made fun of it. I almost punched her in the face for such disrespect. She made fun of me for crying. WELL IT'S EMOTIONAL, DAGNABIT. I can't help it I have a heart and she's HEARTLESS. (I'm totally joking, by the way, haha.)
Ugh. Love. That. Movie. So much. It was great to get to see it, and FOR FREE. Heck yessss.
After the movie, we went out to the lobby and hung around talking to Donald for a while. Which was fun. Gotta love that kid. We gave him our cell phone numbers, which probably will never be used, but whatever. So I have him programmed in my phone now. Which I'll never use. That's just how we are.
Mack started getting SLEEPY (it was past her 'bedtime') so we took off. After dropping Mack off, Trav apparantly wanted to keep hanging out, but there's NOTHING to do. It's Anderson, after all. So we went and he filled his car w/ gas, and then we went downtown to take pics in this little park area. It would've been great, but it was SO COLD, not to mention I haven't been able to move any pics to my computer, so we ran out of memory space on my camera. Thus we decided to wait til it's warmer and I have space to take lots of pics. It was amusing though.
Oh, did I mention what we listened to in the car? When Mack was w/ us, I pulled out the classic me-Mack songs: Until the Day I Die by SOTY, Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65, Why Not by Hilary Duff, and a song from Josie and the Pussycats. After she left, Trav and I listened to Gwen Stefani.
Yep. Gotta love some Gwen. No DOUBT. (No. Just her. IT'S A PHRASE, PEOPLE.)
Anyway.
After that he wanted me to come to his apartment to watch TV, but I'm like... there's only a half hour of "open house" left, so what would the point of that be? And there's nothing else in this town to do, at all, especially with it being this cold, so he dropped me off and here I am.
But so. Much. Fun.
Yaaaaay.
Might go to Indy tomorrow. Depending on how much homework I have, I guess.
Which I shouldn't have TOO much, considering that I only have THREE CLASSES ON FRIDAY. How sweet is that? Found out today that Women's Chorus will be cancelled, and Music Lit doesn't meet on Fridays. That means I'll go from 9-12 and then be FINISHED. Ohhhhh, it'll be a great day.
Hopefully as great as today.
I love my friends. I love good movies. I love... music. I love... life.
G'night.
