Have I updated for REAL in the past few days? I don't think I have...
I don't wanna go back too far, so I'll just stick w/ the weekend.
Friday: Had Christian Understandings of the Human Experience at 10, where we watched a stupid Science movie that was completely pointless. Then I had lunch w/ Susan and Mike, which was good as per usual. Then we had Women's Chorus, and after that I spent some time in Decker to work out scheduling stuff, most of which I figured out quickly. I dropped 2 classes and added 2 others. Then I tried to get a PIN for a class from a history prof, but she wasn't in her office. I went back to my room, disappointed that I hadn't gotten everything figured out, and stopped by Mocha Joes to get a smoothie, cause I felt I deserved one (I hadn't had one in a LONG time). Then I went to my room and I had sent an e-mail to the prof from the library on my way back, and so I talked with Sara for a while, cause it turned out she was going for a spot in the same class. After we talked, I checked my e-mail and the prof had e-mailed me back and said she'd be over there til 3. So I'm like "Let's go, Sara!" So we got around and went over and both got everything taken care of. Yay!! So my schedule for next semester is perfect... I just need to get all my classes in for Spring '07 and I'll be ready to graduate. Such a weird thought.
The rest of Friday is kind of a blur. I think I just stayed around the room watching Gilmore Girls to catch up with Laura after she went ahead during Spring Break. Oh, I also spent some time cleaning my room. After I finished the basic cleaning, I decided to go full into it and cleaned/organized my top drawer, my food drawer, and the top shelf of my closet. It's now very organized and fabulous. I also cleaned out my paper organizer, so it looks nice now, too.
Saturday: Slept til around 11:30-12, sat around for a while, being lazy, and then got around to go get some food. While I was getting ready, Jael stopped by to ask what I was doing that night, and I said nothing, so she asked me to go with her to the Dinner & a Movie at the MP. At first I was thinking about saying no, because I didn't really care to see the movie they were playing (Cinderella Man), but then I thought about something Trav said a while back about how people ask me to do stuff and I always say no, so they stop asking me... so I had a short inner dialogue where I decided I didn't have something else to do, so why not? So I said yes, Jael left, and I finished getting dressed and went to get food. I did laundry, went to Wal-Mart for more Tide, and watched some more TV up until 8 pm when I went to meet Jael. We ran into each other there, and it ended up being really fun. I really LOVED the movie, and they had the mini pizzas for the dinner, which are my favorite food from the MP. They also had nachos, and I had two nice glasses of Mountain Dew... and quality time with Jael.
Darn it, Jael... I wanted to write that quote that I kept repeating to you, but now I can't remember what it was. Do you remember? Not the punching one, but the one about an animal or something. GAHHHH it's gonna bug me...
After that, I came back here and did more laundry and that sorta thing. SNL was a rerun, so no fun for the Allison.
Sunday: Overslept, got up at 11 to shower and then went to brunch, where I met up w/ Gretchen and Josh, where we had some non-gossiping time (we only said things we would have no problem saying with the people in question were present). Then I came back here to watch a bunch of Gilmore Girls w/ Laura and in the midst of that I went to Aaron Smith and MK's recital. It was soooo good... especially because of the two West Side Story songs they did at the very end. Recital credit + fun = a good experience for all. Then more Gilmore Girls, where we finished Season 4, I cried, and then I did homework. I then proceeded to finish my laundry and now... here I am.
There. Fully boring and not too packed with juicy info... but such is my life.
OH. Laura's gonna sell me her fridge (yes, the one we currently use) for $20, I think. She mentioned it earlier, and I think that's a good idea since I'm on a low budget for stuff for next year and that's something I would've had to buy.
Also, Trav called me today from his grandparents' house right before I left for the recital to talk about iPod prices. Apparantly he "needs" one. Why, I'm not sure. I guess so he won't have to hang out with me anymore? Haha, I jest. He'll get mad at me if he reads that. But anyway, I decided I'd think about selling him my old iPod. So I went to the recital, and came back to a message from him saying that he'd pay me $125 for my old one. I discussed things w/ my mom, the main handler of my money and bank account, and we decided that I could go ahead and splurge this time. So I'm gonna sell Trav my old iPod for $135 (I got him to move it up because he still owes me $10 for his Eisley ticket that I bought) and then I'm gonna buy one of the sweet new video iPods that hold 15,000 songs and some music videos, etc. that I've had my eye on.
I get free shipping, and free laser-engraving on the back, just like last time. (Yeah, my old one says 'Allison' on the back... I hope Trav doesn't mind that.)
Your job: Give me some ideas on what to put on the back. It can have my name, or not... song lyrics, maybe? Just comment w/ your ideas... I know you want to!
