Put some records on while I pour...
I finished my project today!!! It sounds realllllly good. I just discovered that I left the ending of Matty's piano thing on there, but I think it gives it character... so I think I'm gonna just let it go. Joe and I didn't notice it while we were editing and stuff today.
But anyway, Laura and Liz were goin crazy about how professional it sounds and they're like "I KNOW THEM!!!" It was awesome. I want everyone to hear it now. I'm so proud of myself... I can't believe I made something this cool. It may not be perfect, but I think for not knowing what the heck I'm doing it's pretty darn good.
Tonight is Encore, and it's Movie Soundtrack Encore, no less. My favorite one. Needless to say, I'm pretty pumped up about it.
Had a fight today. I don't even really care, though. And I'm glad I'm not at the party. It's been much more beneficial for me to be here.
Yay for recording projects! Yay for music!! Yay for movies!!
Tonight will be fantastic. Tomorrow... not so much. I'll have to buckle down and study for World Music, and practice my UDPE stuff A LOT. I've only got 2 more days to practice that stuff before I go in for the slaughter.
