So I just wrote a lengthy entry, ranting about something. If you saw it before I changed it to private, please disregard it. It's me at my worst... angry, bitter, resentful, upset. You don't want to see me that way and I'm sorry if you did. Hence why I removed it from the public eye. Not to mention it made me look worse than the person I was ranting about. I don't want to stoop to that level. I don't want to hurt someone just because they hurt me. I'm over it.
Today was OK. Worked. La-dee-dah.
If you (this is directed at a certain person and they'll know who they are) haven't read The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, I recommend looking into it especially if you have a lot of time on your hands and a lot of doubts about Christianity floating around in your head and you're searching for answers. I read the first few chapters once, and it's hard to get through so that's why I stopped, but even in the first few chapters it calmed lots of my fears and really reassured me about Christianity.
It's written by a guy who was an athiest, and decided to do some research because he wanted to prove Christianity false. After conducting a LOT of research, interviewing scholars, scientists, historians, etc. he ended up becoming a Christian because the research he had planned to use as a counter to Christianity ended up pointing to Christianity being true.
Hard to read, due to the language used and the length and the depth of thought... but very worth it if you want to find answers. I think most libraries have it... so if you haven't read it... I say give it a shot one of these days. It might help you.
Just had that thought occur to me at work today somehow. The book just popped into my mind and it related to something a friend is dealing with so I thought I'd share.
Mikie sang "Beat It" at lunch today. It was amusing. He can't sing. hahahahhaha...
