Master of Social Work, or, Hey look my prefrontal cortex developed
It's been awhile since I posted on this here readalong blog. I've been feeling pretty good!
I'm going into social work! I've been thinking about this for several months and now it's time to apply.
I'm mainly applying to grad schools in NYC. Concerned that NYC is not my speed, but that's where the in-state tuition is, and it's only two years and who knows maybe I'll fall in love with a cold gray impersonal city where everyone resents/ignores each other most of the time. You never know.
Anyway the eventual plan is to go help some folks with mental health issues, particularly veterans (who are way disproportionately suicidal, homeless, etc.) and their families. Adjustment!
Grad school applications continue.
