going to Philly
I'm going to Philly for Thanksgiving, with Simon's family. I dunno if I'll post while I'm there.
(But what if I have more feeeelings, how will you know about them??)
This afternoon, Simon's mom called me up, she understands the whole depression thing, and everyone is on our side, no expectations of being Wonder Woman or whatever -- it's just gonna be chill fun hanging out with family times. Yay for really classy, really understanding moms. I didn't know how to ask, but I was very relieved to hear her reassurance.
The kitties are staying with some of my extended family nearby, which includes three happy rambunctious boys who will give them tons of attention and have promised not to chase them around. I think it will be a fun adventure for all concerned. I hope everything will go well. There's nothing to make me think it won't, just, y'know, I feel like I'm sending them off to preschool or something. I hope they make friends!
Happy Thanksgiving! I've got a lot, a lot, a lot about which to be thankful. Really supportive family, beloved friends, joyful kitties, physical and spiritual needs, space to make art, plus I'm not gonna be sad forever. Sounds pretty groovy to me.
