The New Gig
I started a new consulting gig at a company called Cambrian House this week. They attempt to leverage "the wisdom of crowds" to ensure that production resources are only allocated to efforts that have a chance of succeeding. They call what they do Crowdsourcing and have a strong cognizance in the Calgary developer community.
Their culture is 180 degrees from 'bureaucratic hierarchy'. For branding they've used vikings in their logotype and emblems which is really fun. I think it's going to be a really great place to work!
