I got pretty much the stupidest pickup-line-thing ever while working and the Fresh Market the other day. This guy (who was holding one of our sample cups of coffee) was in my check-out line, looked all contemplative for a second, and then said:

"This cup of coffee is very nice. Like your smile."

It took all the will power I had not to fall to the floor laughing, which would be an inappropriate thing to do while at one's work place. :P
