(no subject)
Back from Florida! I bet no one knew I was gone, hmm? I'm sneaky like that I guess... :P
The trip wasn't too bad, though the countriness of it all was really getting to me by the end. :/ I guess I'd never really noticed it before, but I noticed it enough this time to make up for all those other non-attentive trips. :P Holy Crap! One of my Aunts/Uncles has a house with at least 25 dead and stuffed animals in it! At least 10 deer- mostly just the heads mounted on the wall and then one whole one just standing on top of the TV cabinet. :/ And the Uncle wears lots of camouflage. Seeing all that was prolly the wake up call. :P And then I found out that they were pretty much all die-hard Republican conservatives... >_< Gosh. It was insane. Mom and Dana and I all silently agreed to not start anything on a family visit trip by getting into politics, so we all just kinda ignored it and tried not to step on their Bush-praising toes. :P
Other than all that mess and missing Lim, the trip was just fine~~ We went to this wildlife reserve and got to watch these two huge manatees fart, and that was pretty neat. There was also this quasi-tame squirrel that would jump on my shoulder if I fed it popcorn, and that entertained me for like an hour. ^_^
So now I'm back, and Lim's getting back tomorrow. Yay! And then school's starting up in what... a week? I like school so much. ^^
