Put a smile on your face

I figured it is about damn time I talk about something cheery for a change!

I spent monday with lots of friends. Monday lunch I met up with some of the classics. It was a good time, good to kind of catch up and get to know each other again. Monday night was GIRLS NIGHT!! I love girls night so much, it is amazing how close we have become. It is even more fun when Adele joins us, she is just one of the best babies ever! We come from such different backgrounds, and have had different experiences with each other early in life, but it just seems to work so well most of the time. These girls are some of my very best friends. For example, Jen N and I knew each other when we were realllly little cuz our parents were friends, and then we didnt see each other til we were 17 and working at Boondocks. Sue and I used to be on SFYB together and did not get along at all, and now we are cool. Abbey has become one of my best friends, which is the LAST thing I would have predicted if you had asked me four years ago. It feels really accomplished to think about all the differences and crap we were able to overcome to get to this point. That is one of the biggest pluses to staying at Boondocks, is that I will still get to be around the girls!

Things at the Fairgrounds are going well. It is totally crazy because it is getting near crunch time, and I am there almost every day after work getting things done. Mostly so far it has been painting and cleaning, but everything is going to look really nice this year I think. If you are in the area, you should come see me Labor Day Weekend!! :)

Tomorrow Charity and Cassie and I are going on a road trip in search of a cookie jar (some things never change!) We will have a blast I am sure. That's about all I have for now, have a great day
