Earlier today I was watching a home video of my great grandmother's property down on the Frio River. I was around five? Which would make Chase six and Colby nine. when my grandparents seperated they, of course, had to sell their house.
the house i spent my childhood at.
it was my santuary, the place i went to with my two cousins and sister to get away from the cruel world where my family was poor and my friends were few. i loved that place. And it still tears me to pieces to think that it will never be mine again.
because it makes me feel like i will never be young again.
those two seem to coinside i guess.
