This is a kinda late update.
We arrived just when they were announcing the winner for king. I'm glad I wasn't there for princess because I didn't want to see her win. But that's just another mystery to sit and ponder about. It was a wide known fact that nobody wanted her to win, and yes I must be happy for her because what's wrong with winning three years in a row? But many people came up to me and said that they and their friends and their friends friends voted for me. Pretty much a bunch of my fellow Cy-Fairians aka school mates, I guess it came down to me and her, an she won. Well, congratulations, but next year, when it really matters, I will win the crown. Ha, I'm sorry. I have to apologize for my arrogance, because I swear I'm really not this angry about it, it just really doesnt make sesnse thats all.
Besides losing my princess crown, the night was so bittersweet. It started when Sovan from TONI AND GUY did my hair. He and I were going to for whole combed back puffy mo-hawk, and that's what happened. He is an amazing artist, from just a comb, hair spray , and beeswax, he created a masterpiece on the top of my head. Then by luck, the ladies from MAC makeup were at the Dillards department store and were giving free makeovers, so I popped in, signed my name, and they were ready to take me right when Sovan was finished with my $62 up do. Rain, the makeup artist, did an amazing job and just finsihed a Versace runway show, and siad that because I look like a model, she did her "VERSACE" makeup look on me, that turned out swell. I came dressed to the mall in my DOLCE AND GABBANA dress, so when Rain was done, I was ready to go to Natalie's to take pictures. Oh yes, and I got my accessories from Arden B. which really completed my look because my dress was so simjple, gave me the whole classy look. Well, when I got to Natalie's it was fun seeing Kyle, Leana, Kellen, Natalie, and Sean all spiffied up. We all looked amazing. I must add that me and Sean matched better than any other couple at the dance and were the best dressed. We can't help that we're damn good looking models on the verge. Our purple and black attires set the mood for the night and our silly dancing. I guess sexyness just does that to some people. I think my favorite part of the night was when I got to drive my dad's BMW and when I turned in to "Jamila Beamer." I turned those corners so fast and slick not even James Bond himself could keep up. But the night ended on a softer note with my Sex and the City girls making up (FINALLY!) aka Natalie, Amber, Andrea, and I. Then we all spent the night at Justin's house where I supposidly was mean to Sean, so we could of slept together all night, but he was being sour and slept on the couch and I had to spoon with Natalie on the floor. Not saying that spooning with Nat wasn't romantic and the greatest lesbian action I've gotten in weeks, but I would have rather spent the night with my love.
Next year, I'm going for the gold, and I'm starting my campaign now for Homecoming Queen. It's the only year that actually matters, so I'm not so bummed about not winning princess. Congrats to all the other noms for making it that far, and see ya next year out on the football field.
