Stuff....
Well, it's been awhile since I wrote anything on here so I figured I should make an actual entry. This week has been a little odd for me, just where my normal internal schedule is concerned. On Monday we were allowed to wear costumes to work for Halloween and a couple of the girls brought in lots of food and drink for everyone. We had a good time and for once I had absolutely nothing to do all day. It was a rare treat. Of course I could not wait for the day to be over so that Jennifer and I could get to my Star wars group's Halloween/ Episode III release party. This was one of those notions where we all went; "Hey, we want to have a halloween party and ROTS will be released at midnight on November 1st! What luck!".
The party itself was a lot of fun. One member, Bill, works for the Hilliard School board and was able to get permission to use their annex conference rooms for our party. There were several tables of food, and a couple TVs set up. One for watching movies and another for playing video games. Almost everyone came in some sort of Star Wars costume and lots of pics were taken.
Around 11:15 we all caravaned over to Meijer for their release party they were having so that we could hang out and get the discount cards for Star Wars merchandise they had advertised. After that we went across the road to WalMart to get our movies since WalMart had an exclusive bonus DVD with it. Once everyone had their copies we moved on to Stake and Shake to look over our new prizes and talk about when and where the next meeting would be.
Eventually Jennifer and I made it home, but rather than go to bed we watched some of the bonus material on the DVD. That kept us until 3:30 when we finally passed out. I wisely requested November 1st off from work a couple of months ago knowing I would get very little sleep the night before and would need time to watch all my stuff and be a total nerd.
We all had a lot of fun and the rest of the week was has been kind of a blur to me since then. But at least the weekend is here and I can kick back and relax a little. Maybe the Browns will actually win a game this Sunday! I'm not holding my breath though.
