I write because I love...

Woo hoo, I am finally online to write again. With work, being lazy, lovin' my girlfriend (in an emotional way), and other general hanging out...I've been smothered with a figurative pillow of "things to do." Fortunately though, I am here now, to write as many words as possible before I fall asleep and the cycle repeats itself. No time to waste; eyelids collapsing.

Well, I got on to write about one certain thing, so I think I'll start off with that: my one-year anniversary with Julie! Unforgettable? Yes. Exciting? Indeed. Rainy? Sigh...yeah. For like the last friggin' week, some unknown hurricane (Gilberto as I've been calling it, or Non-Existant for the gullible) has been reigning/raining terror/rain on everyone's parades. Seeing as a one-year anniversary is one aych-eee-double-hockey-sticks of a parade, I wasn't about to let a little/lot of moistness ruin things. The light was out in front of Scott's neighborhood, so I used that as an excuse to buy more time for flower-buying. I found the prettiest pink roses that Publix had to offer and bought a dozen. Arriving at Julie's house, I called her and asked if she could meet me at my car with an umbrella. Haha, she had no idea and was shocked to see the bouquet. Well, I think she was shocked. Anywho, I went into her bedroom to drop the flowers off and I saw my present on her bed. She made me a poster with a whole bunch of Kurt Halsey pictures. It came out really rad and I wanna get it framed and hang it on my wall. The best part: she made it! She also gave me a card that says:

HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME: Best Boyfriend
The Academy of Hollywood Stars hereby proclaims Craig M. Parker best boyfriend for your generosity, charm, sensitivity, love, patience, sexiness, wisdom and sense of humor. You have everything a woman could possibly want in a man, including the world's greatest girlfriend!

Isn't that awesome? It's legit too, made in Hollywood and everything. I'd like to thank the little people, haha. Anyways, I kept hugging her for all my gifts and such and because I like to hug her.

Son of a beech nut, it's raining again.

Well, I decided to give her my gift. My mommy wrapped it for me, but I did choose the paper and bow. I got Julie this little guy that reminds me of me, hoping that it would remind her of me too. He's holding this golden heart and it's so cool. She put it by her bed, so now I can watch over her while she sleeps (in a romantical heroic way). I gave her a card too. On the front it said "Love You" and had a little heart and on the inside it said "...it's funny how two words can take up such a small space on a card but such a big space in my heart." I think. It was something like that, but either way, it made me say "awwww" in the card store and I knew Julie would like it.

After the gift giving, we watched "Smallville" for a good while. I really, truly enjoy that show. Partly because it's a good show and partly because Julie is usually snuggled up right next to me while we watch it. A couple of episodes later, I ran to get some Taco Bell for us. Then, we ate and watched more "Smallville." Eventually, I played some Sly Cooper for Riley while Julie got ready for dinner. She wore the top that she bought at American Eagle the day before and good-golly-Miss-Molly she was gorgeous. We went to The Cheesecake Factory at City Place, even though I was hinting about The Melting Pot all day long ("I hope you feel like melting...";"This pot is gonna be so good..."). We had this kinda creepy server, but it was all good. Seriously, I don't think dinner could have been better. I know, it wasn't at Saito's, but I think the change was welcome.

By the way, Saito's dinner coming soon, anyone interested?

Heh, back on track, Julie and I roamed City Place after dinner. We scoped out the Saito's (sheesh, I shouldn't have mentioned it in the first place) and discovered how tubular it was. Somehow, time flew by and we had to return home. "Smallville" awaited our arrival and was watched soon thereafter. The night ended on an incredible note, as usual.

She has got such a power over me. A good kind of power, that is. One that makes me happy, in extraordinary ways, everyday. She is everything I have been looking for in these 14 years (I'm not including the years in which: I didn't know the difference between boys and girls or I thought girls had cooties). One year with the love of my life. Figuratively rainy? Hardly. Exciting? Everyday. Unforgettable? Absolutely. ♥
