i do not know much about relationships.. and i really don't care to know that much.. but i know that if you care for someone for along time. then you just decide to end it for whatever reason.. you still have feelings deep inside you that are worth expressing.. i mean you can continue to kick yourself for liking james.. (or having feelings for.. or "liked" i cant say what you are feeling) or you can just go with it.. let it pass.. he was the last person you were with openly.. and until you have someone james will hold that void.. That is what is creepy about relationships.. to truely get over one you have to start another. or they just linger in a bad way.. LoL.. I don't think you actually still like james.. it was a suprise.. and yes, james still has that "void" boyfriend relationship in your life.. wether you want to admit it or not.. i'm not saying that being single is a bad thing AT ALL in fact it definately has its perks.. but for as long as i have known you.. you struggled with people you liked and issues you were trying to handle.. as for the rest of us.. we just kinda sat and waited for it to come to us.. We have all had experience with relationships and we know they come in the most inoppurtune time.. like you will be leaving for africa to work with the starving koala's in bolivia.. and 3 days before your flight.. a beautiful man (or woman) falls from the sky and lands in your lap like mary poppins.. we know.. it happens.. you sign up for that course in bolivia and see if it doesn't happen..
As for your grades.. i can tell you we are all struggling.. US history is one of the easiest classes.. i have one of the biggest asshole professor's in the whole damn school. who prides himself in trick questions and ridiculous dates.. will has a lit teacher who just doesn't like the way he writes.. Hinds community college is known for being the harder of the two schools (you know which two i am talking about) and being part of the main campus doesn't help any.. but you can look on the bright side.. you don't have to take this course at a university now and get some asshole professor that speaks in tongues.. I don't understand us history.. and i live here.. that's sad.. some things you can read and read and read and you are just not gonna get. my strong points are western civ and religion.. you think i would do well.. in us history... or atleast i thought so LoL... Some classes it doesn't matter if your major was underwater basket weaving.. their just gonna be hard.. and you are not gonna get them.. but those other people might struggle in what you thrive at.. but the worse way you can bring yourself down and get depressed is if you compare yourself to other people and how they work.. believe me i know.. you have to focus on your own individual goal.. before you make it a competition of work.. it's easier on you to say.. oh i got a c and tried.. then damn i got a c i bet the girl in front of me got an a i'm so stupid....
