A Cold in August.... this sucks!
What a weekend I had. Alpena County Fair was this week, so I was there a lot to watch Craig with his pigs, and to see all the other stuff going on. Friday night was the Mud Drags, and the Tractor Pull was on Saturday. Jeremy and I ran into his ex-girlfriend, and while we were hanging out with some of his friends from high school, she was standing like 40 ft. behind us for an hour and a half pretending to talk to her friend. Jeremy was a litte weird about it, cause he really didn't ever want to see her again, mostly cause he thinks she's gonna cry when she sees us together, I told him that it was going to happen eventually, and there was no avoiding it anymore. I also found out that I'm the talk of the town. Everyone there seemed to know all about me and some of them I've never even met before. People were coming up and saying "so I hear you're a good cook" or "I hear you have a job up here" and one guy even came up grabbed my ass and said Lemme see that tattoo, I was suprised Jeremy didn't do anything about it.
Yesterday, I made a total fool of myself at Nautical Festival. I went to the parade with Jeremy, and his grandparents, to watch his mom in the parade, then went to the beer tent to watch some bands. Well, as most of us know, I'm deathly afraid of clowns, no way around it. Well, we were standing there watching the bag pipers, when this clown starts coming towards us, I just turned around so I didn't see him, but he continued to come over and heckle Jeremy, he had a temporary memory loss and forgot about my clown thing until his mom and gradma tried to get me to talk to him, well I haven't dealt with a situation like this in a long time, and I just started crying. I felt like a total ass, Jeremy had to take me out of the tent. I felt more stupid than anything to just break down crying like that in front of his family. Then I started feeling sick, a nasty head cold, so Jeremy blamed it on the clown. Now I just feel like absolute shit, I can barely breath, last night I didn't sleep more than an hour and a half with out waking up and needing to blow my nose, or get a drink of water. Yay for being sick, but at least I don't have the girls today, and hopefully I can get plenty of rest.
