back in town

my NJ/Chicago trip was Hhamazing.
1st NJ, I went up there to spend time with my Grandmother. It was really nice. We didnt do a whole lot, put together a bunch of puzzles, went to the grocery store, she got her hair done. But its just good to spend time with her.

2nd Chi, I went back to do another weekend improv workshop. It was much better than the 1st one. Cool instructor named Stacie Hallar, i think. VEry funny lady. Learned a bunch. The kids were much more talented this time too. I kept my own though. I turned just as many heads as the other people.
I stayed at Katie's apt. I didn't plan out many things to do so she kinda planned cool things for us to do.
thursday it rained so we went to the Museum
friday i got to see the mainstage show again, WAR NOW IN ITS 4 SMASH YEAR. (this kid in my group thought that the 'show' was in its 4th smash year, not the war. pretty funny), and had tapas with Rene and katie. Bacon wrapped dates were interesting, but good.
Saturday we went to 2 clubs, 1st was called 'the hang up' and we THOUGHT that it was 5 different theme rooms, each playing differnt music. 1st room 50's, 2nd 60's on thru to a room of all 90's music. sounded fun. instead we got there and it was just 2 levels, each just playing a mish/mash of 50's-90's music. Plus it drew the 30+ crowd. It was fun for a while, but once we heard Simon and Garfunkle, we were like 'ok, we're done.'

the second club was cooler, it was called 'the hunt club' and it played actual dance music. It had a big bar on the first floor, then a cool dance floor above it. It was fun. I talked with some cool girls, joked around with some others (we were makin fun of some italian guys who weren't dance but just standing in the middle of the dance floor) And danced some too.

sunday, we went to the Hard Rock Hotel Bar and hung out with PJ. She's the bartender. It was pretty interesting. PJ's brother was there, with his friends and I learned a new drinking game. I learned what Petron tastes like.

this is way too long, and a bunch of other stuff happened too.

back at work, I'm just as tired now, as i was when i left. i can't wait for the weekend.
