today was a good day

the simple things matter.
i was in the backseat lookin at her through the side view mirror today.
sometimes i have these moments when i look at her, and all of a sudden i can't look away.
out of the blue, i realize just how beautiful she is, how lucky i am to even know her.
she was singing that frou frou song, i'm sure people know which one i'm talkin about.
she reached back for my hand. it was cool.

today was a good day. for me at least. i hope yours was too.
