Here a goblin, there a goblin, everywhere a giggling goblin
Much as I've been loving the Spectaculr Spidey series, Pete's beauty mark notwithstanding, it's all been pretty much in your face and obvious. Nothing wrong with that, it's not like a lot of his rogues are deeply mysterious by nature. Hell, even Mysterio (who's not been in an episode as yet) is remarkably clear and direct...
...but now, at least, we finally have a mystery!

I'm kinda leaning away from it being Harry. I mean, sure, each time before the Goblin pops up we see Harry chugging that green goop...but that could be something else. While harry did become the Green Goblin in the comics, he's much more well known for being a drug addict early on and I'm seeing his drinking that stuff down just a plea for help or his trying to fit in with the popular kids; drug use doesn't have to make sense.
In the comics there have been 4 Green Goblins. The original and everlasting Normon Osborn being the biggie. Harry became one while he was high and didn't last lone as he didn't have any of the Goblin's super strength. While he was later in therapy his psychaitrist learned about the Goblin gear and donned it to become the shortest termed one ever; beaten very quickly. Then there was a kid who found an experimental Goblin costume Norman had never tried out and became the 1st superhero Goblin...technically...
...truth is a much saner Harry became the Goblin again before this kid got his outfit in order to protect his family from the Hobgoblin. For a bit he kept putting it on in an attempt to be a hero but it never quitge panned out like he hoped.
Also, technically, there was another Green Goblin while Norman returned from the grave. I never did find out who he was but he was completely in Norman's thrall.
Anyway, lots of candidates but really, so far as this new animated series has shown...just the two count. Like I said, I don't think it's Harry and the secret smiles that Norman has been hiding from Hammerhead make me more than a little positive it's him.
