”To err is human, but to forgive is divine.”
Divine by definition can mean anything from God-like to Heavenly; perfect. I feel how it fits into the Pope quote above is open to interpretation of sorts or in the very least dispute. On pretty much a daily basis I'm bombarded with thoughts of those from the past who did wrong aginst me. Is it not also God-like to lash out in a vengeful fury aginst those who have scorned you? No, its all backwards, forgiving is trivial compared to true remorse. Anyone can feel sorry for themself, to grieve for another is almost inhuman.
Lately an acre of thought has been donated to the angry past and each perpetrater involved. Mostly... I hate the person, with all of their actions running around like reckless children that no one, especially not the parent, will take responsibility for. Whats the sense of forgiving an action when the person isn't worth the dirt my dead dog is buried in. I may not slit your throat but it runs through my mind more than you think about fucking. Then comes the question, should years of abuse be forgiven after a seemingly pure change of heart? A scar can be ignored but never forgotten, a truth best hidden behind modern day cliche.

"I live life with no regrets"
Now that is the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard from pretty much everyone I know. Feeling regret is natural, much like happiness or love. Open your mind, think for yourself and you'll find not only am I right but most everything else you've heard someone else say doesn't make any sense either. Fool.
Huh, I never made the connection
Most people confuse regret with what I like to call "Pining Nostalgia". Looking back in time on what could have been is natural, its staring that blinds.
