stupid Presidential address

You have a whole evening planned and then some stupid world leader goes and mucks it up with a last minute speech trying to garner support for a ridiculous war. What the hell. *LOL* Perhaps it is a bit silly to get so annoyed about a shuffling of the TV schedule, but what can I say? I have basically my whole week's viewing planned in advance ... it was screwy enough already with the hockey games to work around, and now even more so since my viewing habits this year seem to revolve very heavily around the Fox network schedule. Now with American Idol moved to tomorrow where it conflicts with the game, and Angel and The O.C. already both on at the same time both as the game and each other, well, it's just all a little too stressful for a dedicated viewer like myself. Then they put the Idol results show on Thursday at the same time as Survivor, which already conflicts with Tru Calling (which is also moved due to American Idol being moved), and needless to say I have to work Thursday night. Then they move 24 to Sunday where it conflicts with game 6 (if necessary, and it has to be necessary at this point) and our staff meeting at work. It's all just too much. I'm going to need like 4 VCR's to make it through the week. I'm being over-dramatic of course, but I was really looking forward to my Idol and 24 tonight. 24 has been so incredibly suspenseful over the last couple of episodes and now there's the whole Chappelle thing. I simply cannot wait until Sunday to find out what happens. What can I say? I like my TV.

Well, fortunately I have my little stash of Keanu movies to keep me going. My mom and I already watched Hard Ball today and we quite liked it. I was kind of surprised it was in the drama section at Blockbuster but then I watched it and now I see why. The funeral scene was very sad indeed. Maybe I'll give Dangerous Liaisons a go now ... lord knows I ain't watchin no president blah blah blah WHEN MY IDOL SHOW IS MEANT TO BE ON!!!! I don't imagine support for the war is very high at Fox right about now. :)
