two girls who are new to the neighborhood asked me how old i was when i was getting out of my car. i was expecting them to ask me to buy them cigarettes or alcohol. it turns out they're just new to the area and thought that i might want to be friends. while it was flattering that they thought i was a teenager, it was also a little disheartening
